Do you want an
E-Commerce Website?

Also known as an Online Store or Online Shop. These Online Shops are typically built using WooCommerce which is a popular and trusted platform many developers use.

Do you want an e-commerce website?

You’ve heard they can be expensive to start up. We have the solution for you.

We have helped so many small businesses with their e-commerce websites by helping with the cost! We will secure the domain for you; design a fully functioning website and allow you to pay it off over the next 12 months.

This means 12 smaller monthly payments to help you get your business going vs a large once-off amount for the site before you’ve even made a sale!

Start your business in 3 easy steps

  • Select a package
  • Supply all the information for the site
  • And start selling asap.

The Packages

Each package is broken down to how many products you are adding to the site. The more products you add the better the monthly pricing will be. This price will increase and decrease according to the products you have on your site.

Other than product listing everything else is the same. Please read the Includes section below the packages.

I use PayFast for all my debits and subscriptions. It’s safe and secure.

What else is in the package?

The rest of the package

  1. Registration and activation of Domain
  2. Installation and configuration of the website and license for the CMS
  3. SSL Certificate
  4. Creating and Implementing Google Analytics so we can track your website’s activity.
  5. Setting up and configuration of the eCommerce Store and Payment Gateway
  6. Creating a coming soon page (this helps if the website is existing, and you could expect visits from existing clients. This page will inform them that a NEW website is on its way.)
  7. Creation of 7 pages (Home, Shop, contact us, privacy policy, Terms and conditions, returns policy, 1 other page)
  8. 2 Banner designs for the whole site. (Generally used on the home page)
  9. Basic photo editing of the product photo (cropping to fit)
  10. Hosting and monthly support with 30 mins of maintenance per month for any edits.

Advanced options are not covered in the monthly fee and will be invoiced when needed.

  • Adding more products R380 per product (incl basic photo editing)
  • Adding a new page: R450 per page
  • Banner design: R300

FAQ

If you have any questions that aren’t answered below, send us an email Sandy@udezine.co.za

I have a lower package and need to add more products

Not a problem. This can easily be solved in 2 ways.

1: We upgrade the package to a higher tier

2: Or you can pay outright for the new products to be added.
R380 per product listing – this includes propping the image to fit the product requirements.

Easy as that. Let us know which option you’d prefer

I have a higher package and removed some products do I pay less now?

Unfortunately not. The monthly fee is for work done. If we added the number of products specified then the work was done and you’re paying off that debt.

Hello Sandy (UDezine)

In the professional world, references make a great difference. But when you receive exceptional service from a Business, it’s only due to the absolute best attention possible.

Recently we decided to expand our business to the e-commerce world and needed a reliable and certainly affordable helping hand.

Sandy, you came highly recommended with reputable references.

We decided to proceed with UDezine, the scope of work was discussed and we sat back.

During this time you took the utmost care and support in the areas of website design, and site optimisation and went as far as search engine analysis and finally site submission. Your work has been a major factor in our website’s success, helping it become a very popular and amazing site to visit.

I can confidently recommend UDezine as a solid and reliable supplier and most certainly an expert in the field.

How to build an e-commerce website?

Now let’s build the site. In order for us to complete the site, we will need some info from you.

I’ve created a step-by-step guide with links to assist you in creating all the accounts you will need.

We will be designing the online store website using WooCommerce

WooCommerce is a leading e-commerce platform. Flexible e-commerce, for WordPress builds of all sizes.

It’s a professional solution for all businesses that want an online shop.

1. Payment Gateway

You will need to create an account for all payment processing.

Once you have an account set up, please send us the following:

  • Merchant ID
  • Merchant Key
  • Passphrase

It’s believed over 70% of customers will complete their order if they can pay online for the products and courier fees.

Payment Gateways we recommend:

PayFast. Trusted by more than 100,000 South African businesses and the payment gate we use for our monthly accounts and subscriptions.

2. Courier

You will need to create an account with a courier company.

for example The Courier Guy

They do have a plugin with Woocommerce. Which does make it an easy plug-and-play.

But in my experience, it’s slightly more expensive when using the plugin only.

When you have an account with The Courier Guy you can arrange fixed pricing and this saving goes to your customer.

The pricing we will need is:

  • Local – lightweight/small box
  • Local – heavyweight/large box
  • National – lightweight/small box
  • National – heavyweight/large box

3. Product Listing

Now for a not-so-fun part.

We will need all the specs for each of your products.

  1. Sandy will send a Word Document for you to complete on your PC/in a digital format. (this must be completed digitally and emailed back to us)
  2. We will need every box on the form completed and with as much detail as possible.
  3. All weights and dimensions assist in the courier calculations.
  4. If you have a product with the same info but sold in different weights: for example coffee 250g + 500g + 1kg. Please note all dimensions, weights and pricing for these 3 items.
  5. Upselling or compatible products need to be listed as well
  6. Please rename and save each Word Document with the product name.

Once this is complete for all products individually – send to Sandy.

4. Marketing

There are marketing options within Woocommerce.

Pinterest, Facebook and so many more digital/social platforms.

we can assist you with marketing – simply as Sandy for a quote.

The Legal Pages

Selling online also requires some more legal pages like Terms and Conditions, Returns and Refunds as well as Privacy Policy.

We will send these pages to you via Word document for you to complete in accordance with your business’s regulations.

Once these documents are completed – we will add them to the site. The Privacy Policy page is especially important because of the POPI Act.

And as always, if you have any questions feel free to email sandy@udezine.co.za to assist you with any concerns or general queries.
